In the third week of September, I assisted my partner on another business trip, this time to Melbourne. I made plans to visit Fundere Foundry. Nic Burridge had been completing the second part of his residency at the Canberra Glassworks and he would be just home in time to give me a tour. I caught the train to Sunshine (did a little op-shopping) and Nic picked me up after work.
There are quite a few crossovers with glass casting and metal casting. After a tour of all the workshops, I had a very waxy nerdy chat with the owner Cameron McIndoe.
