The perfect Apron

I'm hard on aprons and in the summer cotton, not plastic is preferable. I have been meaning to make one for myself with all the bells and whistles since I splattered sticky silicon over my previous apron and had to bin it.

An old tablecloth was sacrificed.

I took one of the vinyl aprons home from the glassworks and used it as a basic pattern.

My perfectly practical apron has 6 pockets (4 small, 2 large) and 2 straps on either side for a cloth or a clip. The ties are easily adjustable and cross at the back so no sore neck or weird bib placement. The pockets hit below the waist - I can easily get things in and out then.
