was the May (yes MAY!) title for the Carterhaugh Book Club (mythic fiction lovers go check it out) which I sadly had to miss out on. And then I didn't get around to reading it for the longest time. It is the perfect book for a rainy day or resting sore muscles (in my case). I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with a cup of tea (or was it coffee) and happily fell into the story of a lonely young girl called January, who has a talent for finding doors...
Without giving much away - who doesn't want magic doors, magic books and murderous secret societies wrapped up in beautiful prose and whimsy... go on, find a comfy seat, your preferred beverage and settle in for a delightful few hours.
